I lost much of my hearing while growing up. That challenge taught me something powerful early on

Because it was harder for me, I became laser-focused on how communication works. That obsession led me into the world of sales — the ultimate arena for communication skills in action.

In 1994, I founded Interactive Communications — a sales consulting and training firm built exclusively for wholesalers.

But I didn’t start in a training room. I started:
